DSC Document Requirement

DSC or Digital Signature Certificate must be obtained from government-approved certifying bodies (CAs). The application for DSC involves the applicant to submit an application form along with certain document attachments that are required for the application procedure. You must submit the following DSC document requirement with your DSC application form as proof when applying for a Digital Signature Certificate.

The attesting official must attest these documents presented for the DSC application.

An attesting officer can be a Group A/B Gazetted officer, a Bank management or authorized executive, a Post Master, and so on.

Important Documents Requirement for DSC

As proof of identification, the following documents are accepted:.

• Passport.

• The applicant’s PAN card.

• A valid driver’s license

• A photocopy of your Post Office ID card.

• A bank account passbook with the applicant’s photograph and signature, attested by the competent bank official.

• Photo ID card issued by the Centre/State Governments‘ Ministry of Home Affairs.

• Any government-issued photo ID card with the applicant’s signature.

Proof of Address is required.

As proof of address, the following documents can be submitted:.

The AADHAAR Card is a unique identification card issued by the government of India.

• A voter identification card.

• A valid driver’s license (DL) or a registration certificate (RC).

• The Water Bill (Not older than 3 Months).

• The cost of electricity (Not older than 3 Months).

• The most recent bank statements that have been signed by the bank (Not older than 3 Months).

• Certificate of registration for service tax, VAT, and sales tax.

• Receipt for property taxes, corporations, and municipal corporations.

Proof of the Attestation Officer.

A self-attested copy of the attesting officer’s ID card/address proof is required.

Note: When submitting a DSC application, the above-mentioned documents must be enclosed with the DSC Application Form.

DSC Document Requirements for Indian Individual

Indian Individual’s Accepted Documents List as follows

1. Aadhaar is a unique identification number issued by the government of India that can be used for eKYC Service.

2. Passport.

3. The PAN Card.

4. A valid driver’s license.

5. Identification Card from the Postal Service.

6. Passbook/statement of a bank account having a photograph and signed by an individual with attestation by a bank official.

7. Photo ID card issued by the Centre/State Governments’ Ministry of Home Affairs.

8. Any government-issued photo identification card with a name and address.

Proof of Address (Any one of below).

3. The Electricity Bill

4. The Water Bill

5. Install a gas line.

6. Bank statements that have been signed by the bank.

7. Certificate of registration for service tax, VAT, and sales tax.

10. Passport.

Letter of authorization with corporate seal and signature.

Steps to follow:

1. Native Country’s Embassy (If applicant is out of native country).

2. Apostilled by the native country after being notarized by a public notary (if country is in Hague Convention).

3. Consularized by the native nation after being notarized by a public notary (if country is not in Hague Convention)
