Q1: Where can I obtain a list of my school’s students?
Ans: Log in using your School user ID and password to expanded MIS. You may search all of your students using numerous filters by going to Student –> Manage Student (Class-wise, Section-Wise, Search by Name etc.)
Q2: What does the Active/Inactive status mean?
Ans: Each student in the MIS can be Active (i.e., enrolled in school or moved from one school to another) or Inactive (i.e., not enrolled in school or not yet admitted to another school) (which means that the student can be Dead, Juvenile, Dropout, Fake, Duplicate or Migrated to Another State).
Q3: Why should a mobile phone number and an email address be required?
Ans: Because the application is digital, parents may be contacted through smartphone or email for extra information. If the parents’ email address is unavailable, the headmaster’s or school’s address might be used instead.
Q4: Is it possible to change the information about the school?

Q17: How can I change my school’s address if the one I have is incorrect?
Ans: eMIS is an electronic management information system. Go to School>Profile of the School> Go to the Edit Profile page for the school where the address needs to be modified> Address of the School> After you’ve finished upgrading, click Update and Next.
Q18: How can I search the eMIS database for a student?
Ans: Go to Student>Manage Student and search for a student by name, class, DOB, Father’s name, Student ID,UID/VID/EID, and Admission number.
Q19: How can I add a School to a cluster or generate a new School ID?
Ans: The block MIS has the ability to generate a school ID (in eMIS, go to User & Role> Level> School>State is frozen as Odisha>District, Block, and Cluster will be frozen>

Ans: Go to Student Management>Transfer>An option is available on the left side of the page. Choose All> Choose a student’s personality>Reason for TC> Produce TC.
Q33: How can a school update daily attendance when there is no internet access?
The daily attendance may be updated on an Android-based smartphone; if the user does not have access to a smartphone, the monthly attendance mode can be used.
Q34: How do you change the mode of attendance from daily to monthly if the user has chosen daily as the mode of attendance?
Ans: Only at the month’s conclusion is it possible to modify it (for eg if today is 12th Dec and the user wants to change it to monthly then he can change on 1st Jan)
Q35: How do I update my attendance in eMIS on a monthly basis?
Ans:
- Access eMIS>
- Select Attendance>
- Select Monthly as your attendance frequency.
In the monthly attendance mode, the user has the option of updating the past three months’ attendance.
Q36: What is the procedure for transferring a student?
Ans:
- Go to Student Management>Transfer> in eMIS.
- Choose the student who will be transferred>
- Choose a student’s personality>
- The reason behind the TC>
- Click Generate TC at the bottom of the screen.
Q37: How can I receive a printed copy of the TC?
Ans: eMIS is an electronic management information system. Select Student>Transfer>View TC> from the drop-down menu. The same may be printed by clicking on the orange download icon.
Q38: How can I see a school’s partially populated Students data?
Ans: Choose Partially filled from the drop down menu in eMIS>Manage Student>Profile Status.

Q40: What happens if the user selects Completed as the profile state and then clicks Search?
Ans: Check the total records or the total number of students in that school first, and then set the Profile status to partly filled. If both matches, there are no students with full profiles, hence no data is displayed.

Ans: If students aren’t showing up, it’s because they’ve been inactive due to a transfer or exit tracking.
