How to Recharge for IndusInd Bank FasTag?
Customers may recharge their FasTag accounts online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, or other online payment methods. TAG accounts can be recharged with up to Rs.1,000,000 for Full KYC accounts and Rs.10,000 for Limited-KYC accounts.

How can I report an inappropriate/erroneous deduction in IndusInd Fastag, and how do I get it back?
Call the call centre to report an erroneous deduction. The toll plaza system makes a request to Bank for debiting the toll money owed by you for all toll transactions. In the unlikely event that the Toll Plaza system sends an erroneous amount, the bank will initiate a Chargeback on your behalf to reclaim the money that Toll Plaza has received in excess.
This Chargeback procedure might take up to 20-30 working days in most cases. All erroneous deductions are reversed if proven, as was the case with Toll Plaza.

For Lost or Stolen IndusInd Bank fastag
If you have lost or stolen IndusInd Bank fastag tags, please contact us.
If the Tag is lost or stolen, the Tag Member must immediately report it to Customer Care at 1860 267 7777 and/or file a complaint with an IndusInd Bank customer touch point. On receipt of any such notification, the bank shall, during working hours on a working day, upon adequate verification of the Tag Member, hotlist/cancel/suspend/block the Tag and terminate all related facilities, and shall not be liable for any inconvenience caused to the Tag Member as a result of this.
The Tag Member is responsible for any charges incurred on the Tag until it is reported lost/stolen. Furthermore, if IndusInd Bank decides that the aforementioned measures were not followed, the financial obligation for the lost or stolen Tag would fall completely on the Tag Member.
In the event of a disagreement over the time of reporting transaction/s made on the Tag or any other matter pertaining to the lost/stolen Tag, IndusInd Bank’s judgement shall be final.
The Tag Member hereby affirms that if a Tag is reported as lost or stolen and later discovered, it is the Tag Member’s obligation to restore such Tag to IndusInd Bank. Similarly, if a Tag is damaged, it is the Tag Member’s obligation to return the damaged Tag to IndusInd Bank so that a new Tag can be issued in IndusInd Bank’s sole discretion.
SURRENDER/REPLACEMENT OF INDUSTRIAL TAGS
The Tag Member accepts and recognizes that IndusInd Bank (whether through any authorized person or otherwise) has the right to demand the surrender of any Tag at any time, including before the validity term of such Tag has expired.
When such a demand is made, the Tag Member must immediately surrender the relevant Tag in line with the instructions issued by IndusInd Bank in this respect.
If the Tag Member no longer requires the ETC facility or if IndusInd Bank withdraws the supply of the ETC facility for any reason whatsoever, the Tag Member shall be responsible for returning the Tag to IndusInd Bank for cancellation.
In the case of the death of any Tag Member, IndusInd Bank will revoke the Tag upon being notified.
IndusInd Fastags’ VALIDITY AND EXPIRATION
A Tag shall be valid for a period of 5 (Five) years from the date of issuance, subject to IndusInd Banks discreation.
Despite anything to the effect mentioned herein, IndusInd Bank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate/deactivate any Tag at any time, with or without notice to the Tag Member.
On the cancellation of any Indusind FasTag, the minus balance in respect of the Tag (if any) and any other amount due in respect of the Tag shall become immediately due and payable by the Tag Member, and interest shall accrue thereon at such rates as IndusInd Bank may specify from time to time, from the date of such deactivation until the date of actual payment of such amount.
The Tag Member undertakes to return the Tag to IndusInd Bank or its agent upon request and not to use or attempt to use the Tag after it has been terminated.
The Tag Member may request deactivation of the Tag at any time by visiting any IndusInd Bank branch or customer touch point and presenting such documents as may be needed in accordance with IndusInd Bank’s rules and standards in this respect.
The Tag Member must also surrender the current Tag to authorised IndusInd Bank staff.
Following that, the Tag Balance (if any) will be returned to the Tag Member by crediting it to the Tag Member’s own bank account (details of which will have been supplied by the Tag Member in the Tag Application) within 15 (fifteen) days of the Tag Member’s request for deactivation being submitted.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INDUSIND FASTAG
Without prejudice to any other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, IndusInd Bank shall not be liable to the Tag Member for any loss or damage of any kind or nature, however caused or arising, whether directly or indirectly, in connection with the ETC facility and/or these Terms and Conditions, including any loss or damage arising from:
- any defect or issue with the relevant participating Toll Plaza;
- any person’s refusal to honour or accept the Tag;
- any computer system malfunction;
- the Tag Member handing over the Tag to anyone other than the designated employees of IndusInd Bank at IndusInd Bank’s premises or any customer touch point; and
- loss of data contained in the servers maintained by IndusInd Bank.
