About SAMS Odisha
SAMS stands for Student Academic Management System, and it is an Odisha state government portal for students. This project began in the year 2009. Students were admitted to junior (+2) and degree (+3) colleges in an offline mode, which required students to visit each college to apply for admission, which proved to be a difficult task for students. Higher Education Department Planned Online Admission Process After Considering The Amount Of Effort And Expenses Involved In The Offline Admission Process.
