According to the SSC Calendar 2022, the SSC CGL 2021-22 Tier-2 test will be given nationwide from August 8 to August 10 of 2022. Candidates who passed Tier I of the test must diligently prepare for Tier 2.
This post will provide some last-minute advice for SSC CGL TIER 2 candidates to aid in their strategic planning.
1. WORK ON MOCKS AND REFLECT ON YOUR MISTAKES.
You can identify your weak areas on the exam by taking practice exams, which can help you prepare for them beforehand. If you have to respond to questions from both portions at once within the allotted time, it offers you a better picture of how you’ll do. Continue taking practice examinations as the test date approaches.
2. PROJECTED CUT OFF AND CUT OFF FROM PRIOR YEARS
To establish your baseline for this year’s preparation, simply review the CGL tier-II cut off from the prior year. Knowing the cut-off from the prior year will help you estimate the anticipated cut-off for this year. You will also benefit from knowing the successful exam attempts. You can adjust your strategy as necessary.
To boost your confidence, aim to outperform last year’s cutoff on practice exams. Although the cut-off varies from year to year, it is reasonable to expect that it will be higher this year than in the past.

3. Revise crucial subjects.
Review the material according to your weak areas, but also keep in mind the key points or the subjects that will undoubtedly come up in the test. Grammar principles, active and passive phrases, profit and loss, geometry and measurement, for instance, are only a few examples. Focus more on subjects that are challenging for you. Avoid putting too much pressure on yourself by worrying about subjects in which you struggle. Utilize your best qualities.
4. USE GOOD STRATEGY.
In SSC CGL, efficient time management is key. You must avoid devoting excessive time to any one question. You must accurately attempt a sufficient number of questions. The ideal approach is to start by answering questions about your strong points, which you are sure about, before moving on to questions concerning your weaknesses.
Short methods, knowledge of algebraic identities, trigonometric ratios and identities, and key formulas may all help you become faster.
Note: Only use quick tactics once you’ve mastered them after several revisions.

5. AVOID BEGINNING NEW CONCEPT LEARNING AT THE LAST MOMENT.
Before the exam, avoid attempting to learn any new ideas because it will hinder your preparation. Avoid cramming new knowledge that could or might not be relevant to the exam. The possibility of feeling overpowered exists as well. The best you can do is update the curriculum.
6. GET GOOD SLEEP.
Don’t stay up all night studying for the test. Try some breathing exercises or any other calming techniques if tension or worry is keeping you up at night. Get a good night’s sleep the night before the exam by going to bed early. You will be alert and prepared to perform at your best if you get a decent night’s sleep.
7. BRING ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND ARRIVE ON TIME AT THE EXAM CENTER.
Remember to bring your admission card, government ID, two recent photographs, mask, hand sanitizer, Covid-19 declaration form, and clear water bottle. There is strict frisking at the test location. Make sure you arrive at the testing location on time to prevent last-minute stress.

QUICK GUIDE FOR SSC CGL TIER 2 EXAMS: IMPORTANT GUIDELINES TO REMEMBER AS YOU RESPOND TO THE QUESTIONS ARE LISTED BELOW.
1. SUBMIT AT LEAST ONE ANSWER FOR EACH QUESTION.
To make sure you fully comprehend each question, read it again. Read the questions and directions very attentively during the exam to ensure you don’t miss anything. If you reread a question two or three times, it could make sense. You can avoid missing any questions by going through each one at least once.
2. AVOID GETTING TIRED OF ANY ONE QUESTION.
Keep in mind that beating the cutoff is the ultimate objective. Avoid being sucked into just one question. To answer the paper in rounds is one effective tactic. Answer the questions in the first round that you believe are the simplest to answer and with which you are most familiar.
Next, answer the questions that were left after the first round and those that you may still answer in the remaining amount of time. This activity is meant to encourage you to attempt every easy question on the test since every mark matters.
3. BELIEVE IN THE UNBELIEVABLE.
Always be ready for any unforeseen paper questions. Try not to lose heart. For most pupils, the questions would be similarly challenging. Only a couple of the questions will be unexpected. You may be confident that most of the questions would stick to the same format.
4. DON’T LOSE CONFIDENCE OR GO OVERBOARD.
If the questions are simple, try not to hurry through them out of excitement because this might result in careless errors. Also, if certain questions appear to be quite challenging at first, try not to get discouraged or lose confidence. For more clarity, read the question two or three times.
5. DON’T TALK ABOUT YOUR MATH EXAM DURING THE BREAK.
Not talking about the math exam during the break before the English exam is very essential advise since it will cause unneeded distraction and you could lose concentration on the paper.
We hope that these pointers are helpful to you.
Best of Luck on your exams!
